Mark Humphreys – Lead Pastor

Born in Stockton and raised in Ripon, Mark grew up in and around the Ripon area. Mark attended college, both locally and out of state, but always felt restless and longed to get his career started. Mark married Lisa, a hometown girl, and spent 12 years pursuing a successful real estate career. It was his pre-occupation with success and money that nearly ruined his marriage and finances. God used the failures of his life to call him into a life of ministry. After 3 years of Biblical training, Mark was ordained as a Minister Associate in the Christian Reformed Church and moved to Tracy to start Heartland Church. Mark and Lisa live by one simple rule, “Follow Christ wherever He takes us.” It’s not always easy, but it’s definitely an adventure. Mark and Lisa have 3 children Crystal (married to TJ, with a son named Jack), Craig (married to Kim), and daughter Alyssa, born in 2001.

Skot Lokers – Creative Arts/Youth Director

Skot was born and raised in West Michigan. He has served in Creative Arts and Youth Ministry in various capacities for over 15 years. He has a heart to see people really understand what it means to worship God, not just in song, but with their lives. Skot attended Bible College at Kuyper College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and is continuing his education at West Coast Bible College and Seminary. He is married to his high-school sweetheart, Carie and they have three children, Isaac, Isabelle and Iliana.
