Vision

 

When asked what the greatest commandment in all of Scripture was, Jesus responded, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

 

And after Jesus rose from the grave, he commissioned his followers, saying to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

 

Based on Jesus words, our mission is simple:

 

Heartland Church exists to make fully-devoted followers of Christ who love God with all their heart, care for others more than themselves and serve Christ in the world with passion and purpose.

 

Our desire is to see real transformation happen in people’s lives that causes them to fall more in love with God, to genuinely care about the needs of other people, and as a result to give themselves in service to those in need.
