Heartland Church

Kidsbeat

Kidsbeat is a program specifically designed for children K-5th grade and meets during the Sunday morning gathering. Children join us in the gathering for worship and singing and then are dismissed to their classes. Our curriculum is fun and interactive with a four-step “hello, know, show, and grow” process. This gives each child, no matter their particular learning style, the most opportunity to learn and understand the material. The K–2nd grade class meets in classroom #2, and the 3rd–5th grade class meets in classroom #1.

Our curriculum has seven major values:
Biblical and Reformed—children receive a strong biblical foundation.
Grows Faith—sessions are designed to encourage leaders and children to live out their faith.
Easy-to-use—a curriculum that is flexible, easy to prepare, and has lots of tips.
Kid-friendly—activities that will appeal to different learning styles.
Fun—the gospel is good news so it should be fun!
Celebrates diversity—children learn the value of a diverse world.
Builds community—children learn to care for others, encourage each other, and learn together.

We also have a nursery available for infants and toddlers during the Sunday morning gathering.
