Mountain Movers: A Men's Recovery Group

We all face mountains in our lives—some towering, others more just frustrating.

Regardless of their size, moving these mountains becomes much easier with God and the support of others. Mountain Movers is a support group where men come together to help each other overcome life’s challenges. This group isn’t just for those battling alcohol or drug addiction. It’s a place where men struggling with issues like codependency, fear, depression, anxiety, sexual integrity, overwork, anger, grief, loneliness, divorce, and more can find hope and healing. Mountain Movers is for any man dealing with a hurt, habit, or hang-up.

The mission of Mountain Movers is to provide a safe place where men can share their struggles, thoughts, and victories. Here, they can discuss the mountains they’ve moved in their lives and inspire hope in others facing similar battles. By joining, men will no longer have to navigate life’s challenges alone; instead, they’ll become part of a community—a brotherhood that offers support, encouragement, and accountability.

This is a Men’s Recovery Group - Join us on Thursdays at 7PM in the East View Room.

Men's Bible Study Fellowship
May

Men's Bible Study Fellowship

Men, join a weekly Bible study happening at Heartland through Bible Study Fellowship from September 4th-May 7th.

BSF believes people discover their true purpose and identity by knowing God through His Word. Men's groups offer straight talk and biblical truth built on the foundation of Jesus Christ. As a group member, you will personally study Scripture and answer questions each day. Once a week, you will meet for a small-group discussion of the lesson, hear from a teaching leader how the truths of Scripture can be applied to daily life and receive comprehensive notes on the Scripture passages you studied.

This year’s study, Exile and Return, invites you on a powerful journey through the Old Testament, where God’s people were called to build His kingdom in a foreign land. Their story is our story—we, too, are strangers in a broken world, called to build for His glory. As we explore how God equips and positions His people, we’re challenged to ask: Am I building my life for Christ? Exile and Return reminds us that our time to build is now.

Wednesday Night Classes

Wednesday Night Classes

Wednesday night Classes kicked off in September. We’ve been covering a variety of topics! Including the Theology of Suffering, the Theology of Eschatology, and more…

We will look at a solid biblical theology of this painful subject, answering questions like “was suffering God’s will or is it the result of the fall?” "What should the believers response be to pain?” Are we to cooperate with suffering or resist it? The longer one lives for Jesus, the more relevant this important subject becomes. Let’s make sure our view on this is shaped by the Bible.

We will also be looking at the subject of Eschatology, the Biblical study of end times events. We will examine why God put prophetic passages in His book and what we are to do with them.

You’ll have to wait to see what the other topics are, but one thing’s for sure… you won’t want to miss these powerful and deep times of diving into the Word of God, making sure we are firmly rooted in it and unpacking what God has to say to us!
